This App is super set of LayerLapse App. The LayerLapse App is free and has some limitations with regard to features.The LayerWatch app removes all the restrictions in creating layer lapses and also includes a feature to remotely watch the 3D printing process (Remote watch feature is in development and coming soon).This App makes your life easier for creating time lapse video based on each Layer using first of its kind of method for the 3D printing process.At present time lapse video are often made using Octo lapse which is quite cumbersome and requires expensive and difficult to use Raspberry Pi. The mobile App using Octo lapse requires printing through mobile which is a major restriction. Other options of hardware camera have many limitations and expensive.This App removes all those difficulties and gives following methods for creating time lapse videoYou can use any of the below options given below1. Using Bluetooth shutter button Bluetooth shutter button is commonly used to trigger while the head is at home position. You can use this for taking captures but further editing and creation of video can be made in this App easily2. Using M5StickC micro controller and laser sensor This is less expensive micro controller which monitors the distance of head from its position and detects the homing . It sends this information through Bluetooth to the App and the App makes a capture.3. Using M5Atom Lite and RFID SensorIn this method NFC tag + RFID is used as proximity sensorThe NFC tag is fixed on top of printer head and RFID sensor can be placed in the printers frame near the homing position. When the home is very near to home position, sensor detects NFC tag and this is sent to the App through Bluetooth.4. TimerThis is traditional time based method, issue involved with this method is head usually obstructs the view.
